I have 20 years experience in corporate and commercial law, private client work and South African public sector law. I started my my training in 1998 at an elite South African law firm, Edward Nathan & Friedland Inc. (now ENSafrica) in Johannesburg. In 2000 I I co-founded Ashira Legal Advisors, where I worked in commercial mergers and acquisitions, private client, and developed a thriving public sector practice focusing on public-private partnership arrangements, procurement, and the establishment and regulation of state owned entities. 

In the last decade I have sought to internationalise my practice, qualifying as an English Solicitor and focusing on private client matters.

More recently, in response to increasing demands for private client advisory work, including cross-border estates matters, I have sought to consolidate my private client practice in EU and UK estates, registering as a solicitor in Germany, becoming a STEP TEP, completing the STEP Certificate in Trusts and Estates-England and Wales; the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation and winning a Certificate of Excellence in a STEP essay.  I work in cooperation with Kanzlei Langen in Essen.

My clients are from Germany, South Africa, the UK, Switzerland, Kenya, and the Kingdom of Eswatini.
